The residents claimed that the MP allocated few shillings to learners in the region and diverted the money to his own pocket.

"What can Sh2,000 cater for a learner who is in secondary school? This is total abuse from the MP yet he claimed that over Sh20 million was allocated to all university, college and secondary school learners.

"Let him come out and explain where he took the money and stop misleading locals that the allocation of CDF funds was free, fair and transparent,” said John Suguku, a resident.

Gilbert Orenge, another resident claimed that other students were favored because there are some who were given Sh7,000 – Sh15,000 yet the MP had said that the money was disbursed equally.

“There was no equality in the disbursement of the funds as the MP claimed because while some were being given Sh2,000, others who are more special, friends and relatives to the MP and the current CDF committee members were favored by getting over Sh7,000,” said Orenge.

Florence Nyaribo regretted that the MP will not perform because he has already shown the poor characters. She said constituents should not expect much from the MP who is only interested in acquiring wealth.
