The lawmaker said that Raila will use and then dump the former vice president after the August general election. The MP argued that the Kamba community has suffered under the hands of the former prime minister “The anchor was Kalonzo’s exaggerated loyalty to a man who would betray him and his people time and again, leaving the Kamba vote in his back pocket in exchange for a trail of political crumbs to keep him in line,” he said, as quoted by Star. The politician also said that there are minimal chances of Raila supporting Kalonzo to rise to power as he has alleged. Raila, who is contesting for Presidency for his fourth time, had promised to back Kalonzo after he completes his term in office.Munuve has, however, dismissed the claims of the prime minister saying that he does not have interests of the community at heart.

“Kalonzo’s main argument has perpetually been that his loyalty to Raila will ultimately pay off. However, now more than ever the chances of ODM allowing the Wiper leader to assume the presidency,” he added.
