Opposition leader Raila Odinga did nothing wrong in meeting President Uhuru Kenyatta, an MP affiliated to the NASA coalition has said.
Gideon Ochanda (Bondo) while speaking in Kisumu on Saturday stated Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, should join the two leaders in uniting Kenyans and developing the country in unison.
He said Raila represented the three leaders during the meeting adding that the former prime minister did not aim at betraying them.
"We have heard a lot of hullabaloo. Instead of criticising Raila, the three should join him and work towards giving solutions that will improve the livelihoods of Kenyans," he stated.
President Kenyatta met Raila at his Harambee House office on Friday in a meeting that elicited mixed reactions.
Whereas Kalonzo welcomed the decision by Raila to meet Uhuru, Mudavadi and Wetangula read a sinister motive in the secretive meeting.
Mudavadi said the NASA top leadership will next week hold a crucial meeting to discuss the way forward after Raila's 'betrayal'.
It is still not known whether Raila will attend the meeting.
