Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose has accused Baringo senator Gideon Moi for denying Deputy President William Ruto an opportunity to meet former President Daniel Moi.
The Jubilee MP stated that Senator Moi should know that Kenyans have rights to visit the former head of state to wish him well for the good job he did when he served as the President.
“It is immature for Senator Moi to block DP Ruto’s efforts to meet with the Former President Daniel Moi.
"Leaders should interact with each and solve differences in case there is any because there will be no peace if the leaders don’t love one another,” he said.
Mose noted that senator Moi won’t stop Ruto’s dream to become the next president in 2022.
“I wish to tell senator Moi that his father will not make him president in 2022. Nothing is going to stop Ruto from succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta when he retires in 2022.
"So let senator Moi allow the able Deputy President William Ruto to meet the former head of state because there are political issues which the two leaders can share not necessarily seeking his support in 2022,” said the lawmaker.
