Matungulu MP Stephen Mule has allayed fears of internal feuds among members in Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) Party.
The MP says that Wiper is intact and that speculations in the media that there are cracks in the party are false.
Mr Mule says that Wiper will remain united ahead of 2017 general election. He has accused the media of speculating that Kalonzo had fallen out with Machakos senator Johnson Muthama.
“There are no feuds in Wiper Party and the media should stop sensationalizing issues and focus on facts,” he said on Monday as quoted by the Standard.
The Matungulu MP said that the party will not be disintegrated by media misreporting. There are claims that Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has fallen out with senator Muthama.
On Friday during a public rally at Sultan Hamud in Makueni, Kalonzo accused Muthama of allegedly sabotaging his presidential bid.
The Wiper leader also accused Muthama of fueling internal feuds within Wiper.
Kalonzo claimed that Muthama was working with Siaya senator James Orengo to deny him a chance of being endorsed as Cord 2017 flag bearer.
A section of Wiper leaders has come out strongly to allay fears that there are wrangles in the party.
Led by Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, Kathiani MP Robert Mbui, Machakos women representative Dr Susan Musyoka and Wiper chairman David Musila say that Wiper is intact.
The wiper members say that the party is focusing on the 2017 polls.
Political analysts have predicted a fall for Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka in case he parts way with senator Muthama.
Analyst says that Muthama controls a huge base of supporters and influence in Machakos and Ukambani that can easily work against Kalonzo.
