Tongareni MP Eseli Simuyu has asked the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) to comfortably leave the National Super Alliance (NASA) instead of creating unnecessary sideshows.

Simiyu says that Raila’s party has frustrated the NASA coalition electoral reforms and justice agenda.

In an interview with KTN News on Friday, Simiyu said that NASA will be better of minus the Raila Odinga led party.

‘‘We cannot continue to be held hostage by people who have made up their minds to quit,’’ he said in a live interview on KTN News.

The Ford Kenya Party Secretary General said that NASA will survive minus the Orange Party.

He said that coalition has other partners who are keen on pushing on with the electoral reforms agenda.The Ford Kenya MP confirmed that Wiper,   ANC and Ford Kenya will meet next week Tuesday to decide on ODM future in the coalition.

The Tongareni MP accused ODM leader Raila Odinga of keeping silent as his lieutenants wreak havoc in the coalition.

‘‘Raila is blame for the issues that has rocked the coalition in the recent days because he has allowed his Party members to say and do what they dim fit,’’ he said.

On Friday, Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula held a crisis meeting in Karen after ODM senators signed a petition to oust Wetangula as the senate minority leader.

Kalonzo and Mudavadi said that Wetangula remains the senate minority leader.

It is said that the Bungoma senator snubbed Raila’s call on Friday.Raila wanted the senator to accompany him  to Kisii   but the senator said that he had senatorial engagements in Isiolo.

On Thursday sixteen ODM senators signed a petition and presented it to the speaker to have Wetangula replaced by Siaya senator James Orengo as the senate minority leader.

Raila Odinga has since denied knowledge of the move by ODM senators to oust Wetangula as senate minority leader.
