Area parliamentary aspirant Enock Ong’iti claimed the MP has stopped initiating development projects to benefit locals and is instead strengthening his relationship with Nyachae’s family, neglecting development.

On Tuesday Ong’iti accused current MP Tong’i of failing to fulfill pledges he made during the last general election and vowed to mobilise people to bundle him out.

The aspirant noted that the area MP has wrong priorities saying, he has focused on buying buses for schools when they don't have enough latrines, classrooms, and libraries.

“Tong’i has scored poorly compared to former MP Robert Monda who initiated many development projects in the area,” said Ong’iti

Ongiti challenged residents to vote him in 2017 to be area MP and bring more changes in the development in the constituency

“We want leaders with focused dreams please try me I will develop this constituency,” said Ong’iti.
