Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has challenged leaders championing the Omogusii unity movement to tell the community what they have done in terms of development instead of hiding under the initiative.
Speaking on Sunday at Geteni, in his constituency, Bosire said the politicians are hiding under the movement masquerading as champions of peace instead of telling the community what they have done in regards to development.
“The Gusii community is already united. Before pretending that you want to unite us again, please tell us what you have done for the past three and half years as leaders,” said Bosire.
His sentiments were echoed by Nyamira woman representative Alice Chae who said members of the movement are only after benefiting themselves instead of fighting for the community's welfare.
Chae added that the so-called movement is still getting opposition and said it will not succeed in Gusii region.
