Bosire has been at loggerheads with the central government and recently had his bodyguards withdrawn after disrespecting President Uhuru Kenyatta’s order to stand in honour of soldiers who had died in Somalia.

In an exclusive interview with this reporter, Nyambati lamented that many projects in the constituency had stalled due to Mr Bosire’s ‘bad attitude’ against the Jubilee government.

“I want to challenge Bosire to soften his stand for the sake of development in our region. There is a way we can do mature politics regardless of our political affiliations,” Mr Nyambati said.

“His continued attacks against the government is not healthy and time has come for him to change attitude so that we work together with the government and handle a number of stalled projects in this region. There are a number of roads which should have been completed by now,” he said.

He blamed Bosire for the President's cancelled trip to the region during his two days visit to Gusii region saying ‘mistrust’ to the government contributed immensely.

“I still believe that Bosire was responsible for the President’s decision to cancel a trip to Kitutu Masaba ealier this week. He must have incited people by purchasing whistles for them to heckle the President and this is not the right way to do things,” he added.
