Speaking this morning (Friday) at Kiptangwanyi Trading Center, Gilgil sub-county during an Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Mutukanio Co-operative Society, Nderitu said that those misusing public funds should know that their days are numbered.

“Jubilee Administration is keen on safeguarding Kenyans’ wealth and those embezzling public funds will have to be prosecuted,” warned Nderitu.

He said that those vested in running of public offices should exercise high degree of integrity whenever they deal with public funds.

“Those in charge of running public resources should have high integrity to instil confidence among the public,” said Nderitu.

The Gilgil MP called on the government to grill and prosecute those perpetrating corruption as a way of discouraging corruption in the country.

He also warned that anyone being involved in graft should be investigated, arrested and arraigned in Court and charged.
