Kisii County woman representative Janet Ong’era has called on Kisii County elected leaders to concentrate on developing the county.
Onge’ra said elections are over and leaders should shun hatred.
“This is a new year and leaders should focus on development. Jubilee and opposition lawmakers in the county must put aside politics to help in uniting the people,” she noted.
The opposition MP stated that governor James Ongwae must work with all elected MPs, MCAs irrespective of their parties.
“When initiating development projects in the County, governor Ongwae should consult and involve elected leaders to avoid leadership chaos that may arise,” said Ong’era.
She asked those who lost during the August 8 polls to support those who won because 2022 is not far for them to contest again.
