Machakos town legislator Victor Munyaka has lashed out at those calling for dissolution of Makueni county government.
The MP notes that dissolving the cou8nty government is not a solution and that the people stand to lose in terms of getting services.
The legislator said that the proponents calling for the dissolution have not interest of the Makueni people.
“It is saddening to hear leaders from Kamba region calling for dissolution of Makueni government,” he said.
Munyaka said that dialogue should be given chance so that issues facing the people can be addressed.
The MP added that Kamba leaders must come together and help resolve the issues facing Makueni.
“We cannot sit down and allow dissolution of Makueni government,” added the lawmaker.
The Machakos MP specifically singled out Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka saying that he has been heard calling for dissolution of Makueni government.
“My friend Kalonzo should help us dialogue over the issues in Makueni instead of him calling for it dissolution,” he said.
The MP asked Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana to reach out to leaders in the county and have their issues addressed peacefully.
