Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai has hit out at NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga over his demands to electoral agency IEBC ahead of the October 26 repeat polls.
Speaking at Kyamatu market in his constituency, the first time lawmaker accused the lawmaker of treating the country 'to unnecessary sideshows' even as the country prepares for the upcoming elections.
According to Mbai, NASA's demands are unrealistic and uncalled for.
“Everyone is equal in this country as long as they have a national identity card, so Raila should not dictate anything because not even the president can do so,” he noted.
The Jubilee legislator further called on the locals to turn up in their numbers on October 26 to reelect President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“No one should stop us from having an election because by the end of this month there must be an elected president. We are ready to conduct elections, re-install President Kenyatta and the country moves on,” he said.
