Nyamira woman representative Alice Chae has spoken for the first time since she was involved in a grisly road accident on Thursday last week.
Chae who is admitted at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, survived the accident alongside her personal guard and driver at Duka Moja, Narok County.
On Sunday, she hailed her constituents for the consistent prayers and thanked those who were at the scene for rescuing her.
“I can’t recall what really happened and I can only remember finding myself out of the vehicle in deep pain before lying down helpless. I could not immediately see those whom I was travelling with,” she told this reporter.
“I thank Kenyans and my constituents for the overwhelming support and prayers for me. It truly reflects the compassion of our people which should not be taken for granted. I equally thank those who evacuated us from the scene,” she added.
The ODM MP was travelling to Nyamira for a funds drive at Riomoro Primary school in Kemera ward before the tragic accident.
