Speaking in Kimende on Sunday when he visited the families of the victims, (which belongs to Otheri Wa Lari Society), Mburu asked their families not to revenge and promised that he is going to press the government to give them justice.

"The government will follow up on the matter and arrest the perpetrators of the act. We will not allow any more blood to be shed over that land,” said Kahangara.

The Member of Parliament claimed that it had taken the members of the society a lengthy time to acquire the land, "People used to contribute as little as twenty shillings until they acquired that land. We will not take pangas to go and fight those warriors but we will follow the matter to its conclusive end,” added the MP.

The three men are said to have died after the Otheri Wa Lari Society members and Masaai Community members residing in the area disagreed over the piece of land.
