Bonchari MP John Oyioka has refuted claims that his close allies, relatives and families members benefited from the recently released CDF funds among university and college students.
The lawmaker said there are a lot of hate mongers who not happy about his leadership in the region.
“Since I was elected some people are not happy. No one was favored in the allocation of the bursary funds as claimed by some haters and idlers. Those who were locked didn’t attach the required documents such admission numbers and identity cards for their parents or guardians as required,” he said.
He called on former MP John Opore to ask his opponents to stop misleading members of the public about his leadership.
"Opore’s supporters are everywhere on social media spreading false information about my leadership. It is time the former MP to urge his supporters to wait until 2022 because whether they like it or not I will be the MP until 2022 as they will remain to be residents of Bonchari,” he said.
He assured that no region will be left out in his development plan in the constituency because development projects will be launched across the constituency depending on the availability of funds.
