South Mugirango MP Silvanus Osoro has defended his meeting with DP President William Ruto on Thursday.

Osoro said his constituents should shun politicians who are spreading propaganda that he has jumped ship to Jubilee.

"I have not joined Jubilee as my opponents claim. As Kisii County elected MPs we met with DP Ruto to discuss development agendas in our constituencies for the sake of improving the lives of our people,” he said.

The youthful MP urged opponents to share development ideas with him to develop South Mugirango.

"I am ready to be given development ideas from my opponents so that we develop South Mugirango and not engaging in divisive and hatred politics. I committed to deliver quality services to improve the livelihoods of the people whether they elected me or not,” added Osoro. 

 He assured that he will not disappoint South Mugirango electorates in his five years of leadership.
