This comes after ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga dismissed the MoU recently on a local TV station saying it was not binding, leading to anxiety from a section of Wiper leaders.

But the ODM treasurer on Wednesday came into sharp defense of his boss saying Raila was ‘very correct’ in his remarks over the MoU.

“I really don’t know why the issue of MoU keeps on arising yet all these people knows that it was being affected if Raila become president but that isn’t the case. The MoU was very clear and Raila’s sentiments are very correct for any logical person,” he said on a phone interview.

“When my party leaders say MoU was not binding, he isn’t mad because records are clear and his co-principals know that. It’s wrong for some few MPs to take the issue personally and start condemning him. After all Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula haven’t complained,” he added.

He cautioned ‘few’ Cord MPs who he accused of being used by ruling coalition to fuel anxiety within the Cord coalition and vowed to launch a war against them.

“Our coalition is doing well but it’s only few elements being used by Jubilee to bring confusion. We cannot allow that completely. We are intact and optimistic of winning 2017 polls. We cannot allow them divide us based on MoU that is understandably null,” he said.
