On Thursday, while speaking after a meeting with Kisii County deputy governor Joash Maangi Ongera said she has been holding a meeting with stakeholders and other leaders to strategize on how she will deliver to the people.

"I am always in the county meeting elected leaders and sponsors to give donations for initiation of projects and empower youths, women and disabled. Information going round that I have gone into hiding should be ignored," she said.

The MP assured that she will offer transparency leadership to all without discrimination.

"Funds meant for development especially affirmative funds will be distributed equally across all the wards in Kisii County. Women, youths and disabled people will benefit," she stated.

 Ongera promised to work closely with governor James Ongwae and other elected leaders irrespective of their political stand to realize accelerated development.

"As leaders, we must unite and serve our people well to improve livelihoods," she noted.
