Kitutu Chache South constituency Member of Parliament Richard Onyonka has denied claims by Bogeka ward MCA Charles Mochoge that he has ignored the electorates in the area.
The NASA affiliated MP said he recognizes the support the people of Bogeka gave him during the last elections and he will not frustrate them.
"I have not ignored anyone as it is being claimed by a section of politicians. I am working on a number of projects that will be launched in the ward," he said.
The MP said that he was very willing to work with all ward reps irrespective of their political stands for the benefit of the people.
He asked residents to ignore politicians who were dividing them and instead champion for unity.
"Some politicians in Kitutu Chache South who didn't make it to the county and to the National assembly are out to taint the name of those who won. Residents should shun such hate mongers and focus on helping the elected leaders to deliver service adequately," he said.
He also said that funds from the CDF kitty will be well utilised.
His sentiments come just a week after Mr Mochoge said that locals in his ward were being ignored.
