Bonchari member of Parliament Oroo Oyioka has dismissed claims that Jubilee party through him was bribing voters in Bonchari constituency so that they can elect president Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to the legislator they were forced to Marshall the locals to turn out in large numbers but on a good will but said no voter in the area was compromised nor forced to vote for president Uhuru Kenyatta as they all did it willingly.

Reacting to claims raised by Kisii County women representative Janet Ongera, the MP said the NASA team failed terribly to rally their supporters to boycott the repeat presidential elections and said the area is still a Jubilee zone.

"We know our NASA counterparts in the region are not happy now that we managed to deliver a good number of votes from the area and that's why they're claiming that we were involved in cheating or rather bribing voters," said Oyioka.

Speaking at Suneka town hall on Friday, the MP thanked the locals who turned out in large numbers to vote for president Uhuru Kenyatta and said they'll deliver on his development agenda in Kisii.

In Bonchari alone the president managed to gunner 19,200 votes.
