Speaking at Riomweri area in Keumbu Ward on Thursday evening the legislator said area residents have in the recent past been complaining of rising insecurity and that was not acceptable at all.

He added that the chiefs and assistant chiefs should ensure that they work closely with the police to curb the rising insecurity and above all be able to identify those involved.

“I am told people are being robbed from their homes and especially in the night and that can end if the administrators become so vigilant and ensure that they identify the culprits,” he added.

The legislator also called upon residents to ensure that they also help by ensuring they report any suspect to the nearest police for further investigation.
