Speaking during a press conference on Sunday at the Bahari Beach Hotel in Mombasa, Mung'aro praised the Jubilee government for appointing leaders from the Coast to head different parastatals.

He slammed the Cord leadership for using funeral ceremonies to attack the government, adding that when Raila was the Prime Minister, he did not hire residents from the area despite having voted for him in large numbers.

"When you see people using funeral ceremonies to promote their own divisive agenda, just know that what they lack is an agenda for this country," Mung'aro said.

He also asked the ODM party leader to keep off Coast affairs, saying Coast people are capable of handling their issues.

"I am warning ODM leader Raila Odinga to keep off Coast issues because we are capable of making our own decisions," he added.

The MP has recently been drumming up support for Jubilee at the Coast.
