North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko has said that Nyamira County governor John Nyagarama can’t work to satisfy the needs of Nyamira people.
The lawmaker stated that Nyamira residents should not expect much from Nyagarama.
“I don’t trust Nyagarama because he failed to develop Nyamira during his first term and we should expect the same in his second term. Nyamira County is not big like other counties and should be developed using few funds but Nyaragama has failed to deliver,” he noted.
He added that Nyamira people elected ODM party and not Nyagarama.
“Nyamira locals voted for Nyagarama because he was vying on an ODM party ticket. The same electorates will suffer under Nyaragama’s corrupt government until 2022 when a development-oriented leader will be elected,” said the legislator.
He assured his constituents that he will push the county and national governments to launch and initiate development projects in North Mugirango throughout his tenure.
Nyamoko promised to use CDF funds appropriately to upgrade roads, renovate schools and hospitals and pay school fees for brighter children who come from poor families in the region.
