The residents argued that said they are incurring heavy losses, as the road is impassable especially in the rainy seasons.

The residents said that the road is the spinal nerve of their economic activities, and failure to address the state of the road mounts to poverty.

“We use the road to transport our products to the market but the state of the road has been our disappointment,” said Gladys Wairimu.

The residents have urged the county government to intervene and rehabilitate the road to enable it breath life to the residents who depend on agricultural activities to support their families.
