Limuru MP Eng John Kiragu has donate books to Makutano Primary School to boost education in the school.

During the event, the MP urged the pupils to embrace education. He said the books are meant to help the school which has been lacking textbooks.

Kiragu expressed his concerned with poor performance of the school in the previous examinations with the head teacher Samuel Ngari claiming its due to lack of facilities in the institution.

The donation included textbooks and exercise books to help the 2015 candidates improve their performance in the coming examination at the end of the year.

He raised concerns with increased number of school drop-outs which according to him, tarnishes the future generation which will be in dire need of the young stars in line with vision 2030.

The engineer revealed that plans are underway in establishing more classrooms in the school to be able to accommodate more students to sip the juice of good education offered by the school.

The legislator who was speaking on Monday in Limuru appealed to the well-wishers to come and join hands with him to help educate the children of Kiambu.

He has however lauded Kiambu MP Jude Njomo for donating books to his constituency terming it as good leadership Kiambu needs in the county.
