Kiambu County women representative Annah Nyokabi has donated over Sh150,000 worth of laboratory equipment to Mugetha secondary school in Juja sub-county.
Speaking when she met the students and the school board and administration, the legislator said that the education sector in Kiambu County is growing so fast following the efforts by the area Governor William Kabogo.
Gathecha said the governor has been in the forefront to develop all the schools, adding that he was behind the Mugetha school laboratory which has become the largest in the area among the secondary schools.
The lawmaker said that she is in full support of the Kiambu County boss following the development projects he has initiated in the area over the last two years of his leadership.
She called on the pubic to support the county government in all they do as the developments that have been missing were brought near the people after devolution.
She urged the students to acquire all the knowledge offered to them by their teachers and avoid cheating in exams as the county has a good record in the national examinations results which have always shown Kiambu at the top with several schools doing well.
She lauded the Mugetha administration, saying that they have utilised the funds donated by the county boss quite well and the construction of the laboratory is just a beginning of many goodies to come.
