Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka has endorsed Governor Alfred Mutua’s 2022 presidential bid.
According to the Maendeleo Chap Chap lawmaker, Governor Mutua has the experience to steer the country’s development agenda if given the chance.
Addressing residents in Mwala town on Wednesday, Musyoka said Governor Mutua has the qualities and experience of a president.
He urged the Kamba community and Kenyans to rally behind Mutua in 2022.
“We will be championing for Mutua’s presidential bid come 2022 because we believe in him as a leader who has the capability of transforming the country,” he said.
The MP urged other Kamba leaders to iron out their differences and rally behind Mutua, adding that disunity, blackmail, and suspicion are what have been ailing Ukambani’s development agenda.
Governor Mutua has declared interest in the presidential seat in 2022.
The Maendeleo Chap Chap Governor said his 2022 bid is unstoppable, rubbishing claims that he could deputise Deputy President William Ruto.
Governor Mutua will face off with other politicians among them Wiper Party boss Kalonzo Musyoka, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi who have also declared interest in the country’s top seat.
