The Jubilee legislator said he has not spoken in Parliament because he is taking time to learn  how Parliament operates before he can start participating in debates.

"It is normal for anyone who goes to new places to take time to learn things before he or she becomes familiar with the place.

"I have not spoken in Parliament because I feel I am new to the National assembly but with time I will have to participate in debates," he said.

He said he will not succumb to critics who are taking advantage to mislead his constituents.

"I know rivals are now happy after my name appeared among those MPs who have not spoken in Parliament but I wish to reiterate that nothing is going to distract me from serving my people. Once a motion that touches my constituents is brought to the assembly, I will fully participate in the debate," he noted.
