An MP allied to the Jubilee coalition has claimed that the opposition coalition Nasa is sharply divided even as it tries to forge a unified front.
Cheranganyi MP Joshua Kuttuny said that Nasa was putting on a facade to fo Kenyans that all is well within its quarters when some leaders are clearly not comfortable anymore in the camp.
Speaking to NTV's Sidebar shown Wednesday, the MP said that a number leaders had expressed discomfort over the call by the coalition to call for an economic boycott of certain brands while one of the principals was strategically missing in action in a show of disappointment.
"Nasa is divided. It is only a matter of days before the truth comes out.Several leaders have expressed disappointment with the manner in which the coalition is handling its issues", he said.
Kuttuny added that the inability of Nasa to come up with its parliamentary leadership nominees was another pointer to a house divided within itself.
" The reason why Nasa are yet to present their nominees to parliamentary leadership positions and house committees is that the principals are reading from different scripts", he said.
