Juja MP Francis Munyua has lauded Highway Escape Academy pupil, John Kanyi for being among the top pupil from his constituency in the just announced KCPE, scooping 420 marks.

Munyua said that the pupil deserves a token of appreciation for the hard work he has shown not only to the community, but also to the entire nation adding that should have been featuring in the top list if pupils were ranked by Education CS Jacob Kaimenyi.

The legislator pleged to give John Maina, 14 Sh100,000 cash to boost him in futhering his education at a school of his own dream.

“I will give this pupil Sh100,000. All he will have to do is to visit my office with his result slip to collect the money,” said Munyua.

Kanyi comes from a humble background in Witeithie estate in the outskirts of Thika town within Juja sub-county and his exclusive performance astonished many residents in the area. Highway Escape Academy fraternity could not hide their joy the moment exam results were announced.

Munyua has also called on other students from his constituency who performed well to visit his office with their results to reward their hard work which the MP said had finally bore good fruits.

“Every student who scored highly and thinks that he or she would be among top ten, should ranking be done, to avail his or her result slip to my office to collect a token of appreciation for their hard work,” promised Munyua.

The MP who was speaking from his office today morning in Juja constituency hailed teachers from schools which performed exclusively terming it as dedication and hard work in line with vision 2030.

He has challenged other pupils to follow suit in brilliant performance, assuring them that they will reap good fruits from such hard work.
