Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka has hailed the Supreme Court ruling that upheld President Uhuru Kenyatta's win in the October 26 repeat election.Musyoka said the court ruling is a clear indication that the repeat poll was conducted within the confines of the law.Speaking to journalists at Mwala Town on Monday, Musyoka said the country can now move forward after months of political confusion and uncertainty.He said Kenyans are happy with the ruling and have confidence in President Kenyatta."The Supreme Court ruling was wise and shows that the repeat election was conducted within the constitution," the Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) MP said.Musyoka asked NASA leaders to accept that Uhuru is their president and allow the country to move forward.He said NASA should take up the role of opposition actively and wait for 2022 to try again."My message to NASA leader Raila Odinga is for him to urge his supporters to remain calm and accept that Uhuru will be president for the next five years," he said.The Supreme Court on Monday upheld Uhuru's re-election.In a unanimous decision, the judges said that the two petitions challenging Uhuru's re-election lacked merit.President Kenyatta will now be sworn into office for a second term on Tuesday next week.
