Speaking Saturday in Karuchwa area after presenting a cheque of Sh 1 Million to aid in the buying of a hydrant water pump and pipes for the supply of water, Ngunjiri said that the menace could have been resolved if past elected leaders saw the sense to do so.

He added that such leaders had fuelled skewed development agenda and prioritized more areas than others. He, however, said that what his regime had achieved 3 years after coming to power in terms of water provision was commendable.

He added that every homestead in the constituency will have access to clean water before the end of his term in 2017.
