Bonchari Member of Parliament John Oyioka has reacted following the Friday meeting between NASA leader Raila Odinga and Jubilee’s President Kenyatta.
Oyioka said Raila’s old age is misleading him in making political decisions meant to split the opposition outfit.
"Raila has been making bad decisions without making proper consultations with other NASA co-principals. The Friday meeting between Uhuru and Raila shows that Raila is not a trustworthy leader. He is old and should be sent to retirement because he has started making childish decisions meant to bring tension among NASA leaders and supporters,” he said.
The lawmaker called on Wetengula, Kalonzo and Mudavdadi to dissolve NASA and form a strong opposition outfit ahead of 2022.
"Raila must have sold NASA to Jubilee secretly. ANC, Wiper and Ford Kenya parties should walk out and form a different opposition outfit ahead of 2022 elections,” added Oyioka.
He accused Raila for not considering the sufferings of Kenyans and deaths of NASA supporters who were killed while championing for electoral justice in the country.
“Raila has forgotten how NASA supporters were teargassed, injured and others killed by police while demonstrating. It shameful that he declared his readiness to work with the Jubilee regime,” he stated.
