Cord Coalition has been assured that their appeal of disbanding the current IEBC commissioners from office will be answered if they table a motion of disbanding IEBC in the national assembly with enough facts.

According to Bomachoge Borabu Member of Parliament Joel Onyancha, the national assembly will pass a motion of disbanding IEBC commissioners if the motion tabled before MPs in the assembly has enough facts why they don’t want the current IEBC commissioners in office.

Speaking in his constituency Onyancha said demonstrations against IEBC can’t bear any fruit to the opposition but it's only the national assembly which can give the solution.

Follow the constitution and bring the motion in the national assembly with enough facts then we will disband the current IEBC commissioners from office,” said Onyancha.

Onyancha said IEBC commissioners got into office through the constitution and they will be removed by the same constitution but not through the shortcut.

“Let us obey the constitution we passed in 2010 then everything will go in a smooth way,” added Onyancha.
