A section of Bonchari constituency residents in Kisii county has now threatened to withdraw their support for their local Member of parliament John Oyioka for openly supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta during a meeting at Nakuru State House.

In a press conference as Blue Nile Hotel on Thursday, they said they supported the MP because he was a member of NASA and they expected him to fully support Raila’s presidential ambitions.

Led by John Begi the residents said that they have already written a warning letter to him and expect his response before making any move soon.

“We know the MP is facing a petition that was filed by former Mp Zebedeo Opore and if he doesn’t respond we will shift our support,” he added.

This comes a day after the MP who was elected under PDP said he is supporting presidents Kenyatta’s re-election which wasn’t received well by the locals.
