Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri has said that they intend to launch the recently formed Jubilee Alliance Party’s (JAP) outfit after Ruto’s ‘expected acquittal’ from ICC case as a present to the Jubilee family.

Ngunjiri said that the Party is likely to be officially launched after a possible acquittal of Deputy President William Ruto by the international criminal court (ICC).

Speaking on Friday morning in Nakuru town, Ngunjiri said that the activities to market the new party have been put on halt until the Deputy President is set free by the ICC.

Ngunjiri said that all the focus, resources and energy in the Jubilee House has been shifted to concentrate on getting the DP out of ICC.

“Many people are asking why the JAP issue went silent all over sudden, but I want to tell them that the most important thing for the Jubilee Coalition at the moment is to see the DP back home because we cannot be busy marketing a party when some of us are still tied up at the ICC,” said Ngunjiri.

He added that Kenyans will see the real picture of JAP the moment William Ruto will be set free, since according to him, that is when they will officially launch the party.

“For now our energy is concentrated on bringing Ruto and Sang’ back home,” said Ngunjiri.

Ngunjiri noted that Ruto and President Kenyatta will embark on a countrywide tour to market the new party immediately after DP’s acquittal from the ICC cases.
