Chuka-Igambang'ombe MP Muthomi Juki has lashed out at Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho for allegedly disrespecting President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV's Power Breakfast show on Monday, Njuki faulted Joho for engaging the Head of State in a war of words.Njuki warned Joho against competing with the President, adding that they are not in the same league."Joho is a leader with bad manners. He has equated himself to President Kenyatta and has seen it fit to compete with the Head of State through verbal exchanges. However, he should know that the President is not in his league," said Njuki. The legislator further called on Joho to incorporate wisdom in his leadership, adding that he will be barred from attending presidential functions if he continues to engage Uhuru in verbal exchange. This comes after Uhuru barred Joho from attending the reopening of the Mtongwe ferry services on Monday.
