A Jubilee MP in Nyamira County has lauded the Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji for declaring total war on corruption.
North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko said it is a new dawn in Kenya and corrupt officials in government should be flushed out.
“I am pleased with the DPP’s latest move in the war against corruption. It is a new dawn in Kenya and I have no doubt that corruption will come to an end and suspects who will be found guilty must be jailed to serve as an example,” he said.
The legislator urged Haji not to allow politicians or any other cartel to compromise his integrity I nth eight against corruption.
“Haji should be firm and ignore critics and those who may be out to bribe him so that he can drop the corruption charges against them.
"Let him fight the cartels and ensure justice is done. Tax payers’ money should not end into few individuals’ pockets yet the government is forced to use the funds to initiate and launch projects which are beneficial to the common citizens across all corners of this country,” he added.
Nyamoko stated that Jubilee and NASA politicians should work as a team to help President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to end corruption in the country.
