Borabu MP Ben Momanyi has applauded President Uhuru Kenyatta's Government for giving Mr Charles Nyachae a job.
Nyachae was nominated to the East African Judiciary as a judge and he is expected to be sworn in later next month.
Momanyi a Wiper MP who recently hit news headlines after opposition parties wanted to deny him chance of serving at the Public service Committee said Kenyatta keeps promises.
"I have proved that indeed Kenyatta is a man of his words following the appointment of Nyachae to the position," he said.
Nyachae had unsuccessfully tried to contest for the Kisii County senatorial seat but lost to Prof Sam Ongeri.
He also unsuccessfully tried to get a slot at the East African Legislative Coucil (EALA) where he still failed.
Other leaders who have praised the President for the move include, fomer Kisii Senator Chris Obure, Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i and Kitutu Chache North MP Jimmy Angwenyi.
"The President has done an honour to the people of Kkisii. We appreciate the appointment and promise him that we shall go on working together," said Mr Tong'i.
Obure asked the people from the community to shun the opposition and support Jubilee.
