Speaking on Radio Citizen Wednesday morning, the MP laughed off the Senator's 2022 presidential bid.

Speaking at Ol-Pajeta on Saturday, Moi declared that he will be in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta who is on his way to retirement.

According to Soi, however, the retired President Daniel Moi's son is yet to prove himself.

He also questioned Moi's track record, noting that he has nothing to his name and, therefore, should discard the ambition.

''Gideon's ambition is laughable as he lacks the needed qualities to hold the presidential position. He should not expect to ride on his father's name to make it to the top as leadership is not given but earned,'' he said.

''He has also not achieved anything throughout his tenure in politics and has nothing to show for his current and past positions,'' he added.

The MP noted that the entire Rift Valley will rally behind Deputy President William Ruto who is also keen on taking over after the President, saying that his score sheet speaks for itself.

''The Rift Valley region and the entire region will rally after William Ruto under whom many achievements have been made and is promising more,'' he stated.
