The constituency CDF Chairman Dancan Omenge, standing in for MP Ben Momanyi, said the institution will help local youths to enroll for courses such as electrical engineering, plumbing among other courses.

“Borabu Technical Training institute will help youths to get skills in various courses to enable them earn a living. The problem of walking for long distances to seek technical skills in far institutions is now a past tense in the constituency,” said Omenge.

He said the project was initiated by the government 2 years ago. 

“We have already welcomed the new principal who will head the institution,” he added.

The chairman said the government sent learning materials and equipments worth Sh20 million for students to use in their studies.
