Matungulu Member of Parliament, Stephen Mule on Wednesday launched Uamani primary school CDF project in Kiboko location North ward.
Speaking during the handing over ceremony of Uamani primary school, Mule thanked the CDF for funding other projects in the region.
He further thanked the Uamani Primary School parents for contributing 10 per cent which was required by the Constituency Development Fund committee in the region required in order to acquire funds from the same.
“Through the CDF we have set aside Sh5.4 million which will be set aside every year to renovate all the schools that will be constructed,’’ added Mule.
The Mp also stated that through his office, many schools have been started to reduce the walking distance by pupils.
“Through the CDF Fund we bought land and started new schools a few kilometres from the old ones to reduce the walking distance by the children as per the new laws,” he reiterated.
