The constituency is one of the first to host the first phase of the training series that saw 25 participants drawn from Kwale, Mombasa and Mariakani attend.

Through his official facebook account, Nassir said that the lead agencies that coordinated the training were Reach Out Centre Trust supported by the Kenya Red Cross Society through the Global Fund with Haki Africa providing the training expertise.

"When I receive the feedback from the training exercises that will be over after one month, I will table a proposal in parliament to cushion legislation of the affairs of the key populations",said Abdulswamad.

He also noted that as a pioneer of the paralegal training, he would look forward to the formation of Coast Advocacy framework that would look into the affairs of key populations in the coast region.

It will be tasked with coordinating jointly the coast region and Mvita constituency.
