Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi has not been committed to supporting projects funded by Ganze NG-CDF, Ganze MP Peter Shehe has claimed.
The lawmaker accused Kingi of sidelining some constituencies since taking over leadership of the county in 2013.The MP said he has overseen the construction of 15 dispensaries in different parts of the county, but Kingi’s government has not been supportive.Speaking on Tuesday in Katendewa, Shehe claimed that Kingi has done little to transform the lives of residents in the past four years.“I have constructed 15 dispensaries since my election as Ganze MP in 2013. Unfortunately, almost all of them have no medicine and no medics. They have been abandoned and the devolved government pays little attention to them,” said shehe, as quoted by the Nation.Kingi, however, dismissed the claims, saying he has not sidelined any part of the county during his reign. The county boss is banking on his performance record to retain his seat. He accused his opponents of attempting to discredit him in order to win the hearts of the electorate.
