Speaking to this writer on Tuesday, the MP called for sobriety over the IEBC impasse.

She said even though the constitution allows for peaceful demonstrations, it does not mean interfering with the rights of others.

"We know the constitution allows peaceful demonstrations but the opposition should rethink before going to the streets," she said.

The MP who is also a counsellor on family matters, said the nation is like a family and there are proper ways of dealing with crises.

She also called on the clergymen to pray for the nation even during this time of misunderstanding concerning IEBC.
