"Mulyungi should apologize to Ngilu and women in particular for such obnoxious remarks against a woman," Munyalo said.

Munyalo said Mulyungi should think twice before picking a fight with the governor since she was elected by the Kitui residents.

"We chose Ngilu, Mulyungi should respect our decision and let us be served smoothly without his interference," he said.

The youths threatened to protest if Mulyungi fails to apologize the the governor.

Mulyungi had earlier said he will battle it out in the gubernatorial race with Ngilu in 2022.
