Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri has reiterated that the exit of Machakos senator Johnstone Muthama from the Wiper party is a major problem for the party and its leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

According to Ngunjiri, the exit of Muthama and Kitui senator David Musila predicts a fallout in the party and thus a major hindrance to NASA as it guns for August 8.

"The exit of Muthama from Wiper is a big blow to the party. This is worsened by Musila's exit because the two were very strong members of the party," said Ngunjiri.

Speaking in an interview on Radio Maisha on Tuesday, Ngunjiri further said the people of Ukambani will fail to vote as a block due to Kalonzo playing the second fiddle in the NASA coalition.

"The move by Kalonzo to play second fiddle in the NASA coalition will lead to the Ukambani people failing to vote as a block come August 8. The people are not in terms with how Kalonzo became second in the coalition's line-up," added Ngunjiri.
