Nyakach lawmakers Aduma Owour has pointed a figure at political differences as the cause of the  recent arson attack on car, granary and part of his house.

According to Aduma, a former civic leader who is eyeing the parliamentary seat is behind the attack. 

The troubled lawmaker claims that he has enough evidence linking a former councillor to the attack and he had already presented to the police. 

Confirming the receivership of the evidence, Kisumu County Commissioner, Mohammed Maalim stated that police are already working on the lead given by the MP even as investigations countinue. 

Aduma claims that it is his stand against corrruption in the Constituency Development Fund that has brought him all the predicaments he is undergoing. 

He further claims that the former civic leader in question was once a manager with the kitty but left the job due to corruption related charges. 

In 2013, the lawmaker lost his parents in a simillar incident when unkwon arsonist attacked their home, killed them beore burning theirmutilated bodies in an incident that shocked many. 

Ever since that incident, Aduma has claimed that his life was in danger. 

No suspect has been apprehended following the Saturady incident.
