Makuenii MP Dan Maanzo has said that the National Super Alliance (NASA) is committed to bringing to an end the culture of electoral fraud in the country.Speaking on Citizen TV on Tuesday, the Wiper Party MP lamented that a majority Kenyans had been reduced to being 'spectators in successive elections where fraud and dishonesty are the order of the day'.Maanzo said NASA was considering a number of legal measures that would see the country regain its electoral credibility, including boycotting brands associated with companies that endorse illegitimate governments."Our resolve to end the culture of election fraud remains firmly on course. We will ensure that this unbecoming conduct is brought to an end. We are considering a number of measures including boycotting brands that are clearly endorsing an illegitimate government,” said Maanzo. His sentiments come in the wake of Monday's declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta as president-elect following Thursday’s repeat presidential election that the opposition coalition NASA boycotted over IEBC's failure to implement electoral reforms.
